Cookie policy

Our website uses different types of cookies. It is important to us that you have control over your online privacy. Therefore we would like to inform you as completely as possible about which cookies we use and for what purposes.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or mobile phone when you visit the website. Information about your website visit is stored in these cookies. Personal data is processed when cookies are placed. The use of cookies enables a website to recognise you the next time you visit the website. This can be useful, for example, if you do not want to log in every time you visit the website.

Different types of cookies

We distinguish between functional and non-functional cookies. We always place functional cookies. These are necessary for the website to work properly. They ensure, for example, that you can remain logged in on the website whenever you wish. In addition to functional cookies, we also place standard analytical cookies. This is an example of a non-functional cookie. It is not necessary for the proper functioning of the website. This enables us to know which parts of the website are popular and where we can improve our website. Only when you agree to place cookies, we also place a number of other non-functional cookies. These all have different purposes, but allow us to improve our services. For instance, we use cookies to display online surveys on our website, to test improvements on our website, to display social media buttons or to display relevant ads for our services on other websites.

Online privacy

It is important to us that you have control over your online privacy. Therefore we would like to inform you as completely as possible about which cookies we use and for what purposes. The table below shows you which cookies we place by default when you visit the website and what we place when you accept or reject our cookies.

Functional cookies

Functional cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. These cookies are therefore placed by default and are not deleted when you do not accept them. Functional cookies ensure that you can remain logged in during your visit to the website. They also ensure that products in your shopping basket are saved when you want to buy something in our webshop.

Cookies to measure visits

Analytical cookies allow us to measure website traffic. These statistics give us insight into how often our website is used, what information visitors are looking for and which pages are visited most. This tells us which parts of the website are popular and where we can improve our website. We continuously analyse and improve the website to make the experience as pleasant as possible for visitors. The statistics that we collect cannot be traced back to individuals. This data is therefore always used anonymously. We use Google Analytics to gain insights from the data. We always place analytical cookies when you visit our website.

Analytical cookies collect, among other things, the following data:

  • Tracking the number of visitors to our web pages.
  • Tracking the duration of the visit.
  • The performed searches on the website.
  • Information about your browser and device with which you visit our website, such as operating system and screen size.
  • How you arrived at our website, for example, whether you clicked on one of our advertisements or a link in an email.
  • Items you purchased or added to the shopping cart on the website.

For more information about what Google does with the collected data, we refer to Google's privacy statements. These statements may change from time to time.

We will never provide the personal data you enter (such as name, address, telephone number) to Google. Read more about how we handle personal data in our privacy statement.

Cookies for social media integration

On our website, we show videos and other content that you can promote and share via social networks using a button. To enable these buttons to function, social media companies such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Google place cookies so that they can recognise you when you are logged in to that social network. They also collect data about the page you share. For more information on the data collected by social media companies, please refer to their privacy statements. These can change regularly.

Cookies to show ads on other websites

We use online advertisements to promote our services. We prefer to do this as targeted as possible, to keep costs low and not show you unnecessary ads. For this we use Google Adwords, Google Dynamic Remarketing, Facebook Custom Audiences (we do not share our customer base with Facebook). This way we can target advertising and keep costs low.

These cookies make it possible to:

  • Keep track of which ads you have already seen. This prevents you from seeing the same adverts too often.
  • Keep track of how many visitors click on our ads.
  • Keep track of how many visitors purchase a service from us after clicking on an advertisement. This is necessary to analyse the effectiveness of advertisements.
  • To keep track of whether you have already purchased certain services from us. You will then not be shown unnecessary advertisements.

Even if you do not accept cookies, you may still encounter advertisements from us online. Not all of our advertisements use cookies. Cookies do make it possible to show you more relevant ads and not unnecessary ones.

For more information on what Google does with the stored data, we refer to Google's privacy statement. This can change regularly. We have not given Google permission to use the information obtained for other Google services.

For more information on what Microsoft does with stored data, we refer to the privacy statement of Microsoft. This may change regularly. We have not given Microsoft permission to use the information obtained for other Microsoft services.

For more information on what Facebook does with stored data, please read Facebook's privacy policy. This may change regularly. We have not given Facebook permission to use the information obtained for other Facebook services.
